About me
My approach is centred around helping you to feel heard, understood and supported while we explore what matters most to you. I work with people from all walks of life and aim to offer a calm, compassionate space where you can feel safe to talk openly and at your own pace.
Alongside my counselling training, my background in social care has given me insight into the challenges that people can face throughout different stages of life. I have experience supporting individuals with care and support needs due to ageing or health conditions, as well as those in caring roles for loved ones.
I understand that caring responsibilities and additional support needs can bring unique emotional and practical pressures — including stress, anxiety, isolation, grief, burnout, and changes in identity or relationships. Together, we can explore your experiences in a way that feels manageable and supportive.
My approach: I work in a person-centred way, focusing on your experience, your needs, and what feels helpful for you. Sessions are collaborative, non-judgemental, and gently supportive. Areas I may support include:
- Stress and burnout
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Caring responsibilities and carer fatigue
- Living with long-term health conditions
- Grief and loss
- Relationship changes
- Identity and life transitions
- Feeling stuck, isolated, or emotionally exhausted
